Wyman Brothers Racing has kicked off the summer racing season with checkered flags! Memorial Day weekend was Bike Days in Canton, Ohio with the Wyman Brothers favorite- a cushion ½ mile! Cody brought home a 2nd place and three 3rd place finishes in the 85/100/125 classes. Travis finished with 1st in 250 and 1st in Open Am and 2nd in 450Am. Travis also entered the Open Money class where the Pros and Amateurs are combined. He finished a very respectable 5th on the Rotax beating a lot of Pros to the finish line!! Kyle dominated Pro Sport and Open Money winning both classes! In the Open Pro class, Kyle was on the HD 750. Bob Wyman and Gary McFarland (Gumby) are getting the Harley 750 dialed in along with Kyle gaining experience on the big bike. On Saturday, Kyle finished 4th. Sunday's Open Pro race was spectacular and he almost pulled off the win, but settled for second place competing against the Pros. June 3rd was our next Pro Sport race in Dayton, Ohio on a ½ mile. Kyle had a second row start in the main and moved his way up to 4th at the finish line! Nice ride! Then it was "hammer down" to Peoria, Illinois for Sunday's Pro Sport TT race. Kyle struggled getting used to the unfamiliar TT track with right and left turns and a JUMP! In the main, he was lined up on the second row and got an uncharacteristic BAD start leaving him in last place heading into the first turn. After 12 laps, Kyle managed to work his way up to 7th place! Currently, Kyle is in 4th place in points in the Pro Sport class and he is looking forward to the Nationals in Du Quoin, Illinois to move on up! Medina TT Scrambles start Sunday, June 11th! Come on out and support the Wyman Bothers! Special thanks to our sponsors- Long Pond Auto Body, Superseal Sealcoating, Chromeglow, Floyd Frey Paving and Adaptive! |
